Matthew Andrews is an American historian with an interest in the links between sports and American history and culture. He is particularly interested in the ways sports both reflect and affect American politics, race and gender identities, and social reform movements.
Trailblazer Studios is an Emmy-winning entertainment, production, post, and sound facility. Based in Raleigh, N.C. Trailblazer’s nearly 20,000 sq ft. facility boasts a soundstage, production offices, edit suites, picture finishing, sound mixing, and other related services.
Since 2001, the company has created meaningful, compelling, and entertaining content for TV, film, and digital platforms and has delivered close to 2000 shows to networks like HGTV, Discovery, TLC, DIY and PBS, and has assisted clients with delivering content to HBO, Netflix, Amazon, and numerous film festivals including Sundance, Full Frame, and Tribeca.
